Funeral Notice
A funeral notice complete with picture is published in the local newspaper by either the immediate family or the funeral home to advise friends and family of the recent passing of a loved one.
A funeral obituary is a more elaborate form of a funeral notice in that it tends to go into more detail in the significance of the life of the person that has passed.
The latest fastest growing trend in the funeral industry are online obituaries.
All funeral directors in all funeral homes are fully prepared to take on this task if you find it daunting. Here are some examples of fictitious individuals to help get you started or search online for additional examples.
Feel free to use these examples as a free template to customize your own funeral notice.
